Monique Breau
36, Moncton

Monique Breau, Moncton, N.B., was shot in her home on December 19, 2005 by her estranged common-law partner whom she had not spoken to in nine months. He then turned the gun on himself. A nursing mom, Monique had her 3 month old son in her arms when she was fatally shot.

Monique was honest, generous, fun-loving and sensitive. She showed compassion to everyone. She had traveled extensively, capturing its beauty on film. Tall, dark and slender, she was an outdoor enthusiast throughout the seasons - camping, biking, skiing and even extreme sports.  Her hobbies were painting, gardening and volunteering. She believed in God and Life and giving birth to her two precious children was her greatest and most rewarding achievement.  Monique’s independent and free spirit was weakened by the man who fathered her children. A physiotherapist at Moncton hospital, Monique enjoyed providing care to her patients.

Monique we miss your presence, your touch, your smile
